How do Anti-Wrinkle injections work?
Botulinum Toxin reduces or stops signals to the muscles that cause lines and wrinkles, so by keeping the muscle relaxed, the skin stops creasing…and voila - the skin is smoother!
How long do Anti-wrinkle injections last?
Results are maximal for about 8-12 weeks, but the effects will often last longer. For best results I recommend treatment 3 times per year on average.
What are the side effects of Anti-Wrinkle injections?
Mild swelling, bruising or redness are possible. Less common/rare include heaviness to eyelid, headaches, blurred vision - but these will be discussed fully at consultation.
Are Anti-wrinkle injections safe?
Botulinum Toxin has been used for 40 years and has an excellent safety profile - of all the cosmetic injectable treatments I often recommend this for nervous first-timers, if appropriate.
Will people notice I have had Anti-Wrinkle injections?
If the right amount is injected for you personally, then you should still look natural and have expression - some people may notice you look fresh or younger. For those clients wanting a much stronger treatment (personal choice) then it would be more obvious as there would be less natural movement retained.

What is the Nefertiti neck lift?
In certain patients, strong neck bands of the Platsyma muscle can pull down on the jowls - Botox can weaken these muscles and help lift the jowls and smooth the appearance of the neck.
